Alyson Shelton is an award-winning screenwriter and director. She graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Theater as a Naomi Marfleet Distinguished Scholar and with a Certificate in Creative Writing for the Media. Alyson attended USC to get her MFA in Film and Television Production, where she received the Albert Broccoli scholarship and was one of only four directors to be selected to direct a graduate level film produced by USC and was awarded a $20,000 budget for her script, In Search of… After film school she served as an assistant to the President of Gracie Films and then moved over to be a producer on shows for the Fine Living and Food Networks. Her new feature script, Bright Side, was honored as in the script development program at the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto. Alyson made her feature-film directing debut with the award-winning Eve of Understanding.
